IOSH Accident Investigation and Fire Safety Management Course (10 CEP Points & IOSH Certification)

Course Objective

Part A : IOSH Accident Investigation
To provide an understanding of the basic knowledge of accident investigation in OSH perspectives and provide relevant tools to conduct a proper accident investigation process.

Part B: Fire Safety Management
To provide an understanding of fire safety management by adopting a systematic approach for completing risk assessment, to decide on priorities and to set objective to eliminate or reduce risk.

Course Outline

Part A : IOSH Accident Investigation

  • Basic understanding of Malaysia and Singapore legal requirement on Workplace Safety & Health Act.
  • Basic understanding of all accidents at workplaces
  • Term and definitions of workplace incident and accident
  • Reporting of workplace accident
  • Different interview techniques and methodology
  • Preservation of workplace accident evidences
  • Workplace accident report

 

Part B: Fire Safety Management

  • Understanding the chemistry and basic principle of fire
  • Fire risk assessment
  • Recognising importance of fire prevention
  • Demonstrate the use of fire extinguisher promptly
  • Plan and prepare effective emergency response plan
  • Understand Evacuation and Emergency response procedure
